Strong for Life visit to Dunbar Elem.
Teaching reflects differentiation of instruction based on personal and cultural characteristics of learners.
Differentiating instruction is a key asset of teaching. The teacher has to know that what one student may love to do or excels in is another student’s weakness or dislike.
Differentiating instruction also means making modifications to a lesson or task to adjust to the level of the student. We want all of our students to be successful which brings along confidence and a continued involvement in the physical education and health class. Georgia State has taught me how to look outside the box and the norm of what most physical education teachers teach because they are popular. I am considerate that there are students that maybe in my class that are from a different culture and that they too should be accepted and celebrated in the class. You will find in the following section below a multitude of different lessons that I have had experience in learning and now implementing to students as well as different teaching methods that have been proven to work. Listed below are several examples of different methods used to deliver content to students.
